A birrrrthday that it was...

1 birthday,
2 surprise parties,
6 days of Celebration,
7 cakes and
millions of wishes later...

I find the time to blog bout it.

Woah!! it was fun... and the best b'day celebration till date. my friends are calling it mini-olympics.

I have the greatest and the bestest friends... here :-)

Had an awesome time gift hunting... as my birthday was on a working day, they had a treasure hunt arranged in the office... with the gifts hidden in the pantry, conference rooms etc.

Best part (after the treasure hunt) was the surprise party that my friends threw at my house... they must have done some real great plannings. One friend took me put on the pretex of having breakfast, and while we were at the restraunt, the entire gang took the duplicate key of my house from the land lady and decorated it with baloons and all... and cake too (it happened 3 days after my actual birthday).

I enter the house and Boom!!! Brang!!! Phaat!!! Happy Birthday... !!!

letting go

*********************** Disclaimer ***********************
I, the author, hereby declare that the story posted here is NOT based on my life :-)
It is just a something that I came across a couple of days ago.
I've been doin a lot of relationship thinking lately.
********************************************************

Why is letting go of someone so tough? Why can’t we see that at times letting a person go is the best that we can do to them?

Stretching beyond capacity can break a rubber band.

Why don’t we see that relationships are like strings of pearls? And stretching them is like breaking the string and scattering the pearls. Letting go is like putting a knot and letting nothing scatter.

Relationship is the string between 2 people and the pearls are the moments (both sad and happy) that the two people spend together. If the relationship breaks, the moments spent are scattered. If you put a knot on each end of the string, then maybe later at some point in life, you can join the two ends together to get the string that you once had. Definitely, the tiny hump (joining knot) will always be there, which depending on the size, can or can not be ignored. Depends.

What do you think?
